The Oxford Business college has been awarded a bronze CSR Accreditation by CSR-A, the only Accreditation scheme in the UK.
Achieving a CSR Accreditation is a visible testimony of an organisation’s excellence in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
When organisations apply for accreditation, their activitiesare recorded against the Social Responsibility’s ‘Four Pillars’ of environment, workplace, community and philanthropy. Each Social Responsibility Pillar is designed to help organisations impact report on areas such as energy performance, recycling, staff engagement, health and well-being, community engagement and support for local and national charities.
The award comes in recognition of social responsibility initiatives throughout OBC’s business operations, and serves as an indication that the College is integrating social, environmental, ethical, human rights and consumer concerns into its business operations and strategy.
Being accepted into the CSR Accredited members’ directory also allows OBC to be entered for the International CSR Excellence awards.
