Course Details & Modules

Our lessons will be fun, interesting and practical. Students will learn to communicate better in English, both with native and non-native speakers, and will discover more about British culture in order to help them get a better understanding of everyday life in this country. We aim to give students the tools to manage common situations both here in Oxford and all over the English-speaking world.

The classes will include a wide range of interactive activities to ensure that all students have the chance to speak as much as possible. But because written English is important, students will also develop their reading and writing skills, helping them understand a variety of different kinds of texts and giving them a greater range of expression. Topics for lessons could include entertainment, the environment, family and friends, food, health, shopping and work as well as English for using technology such as phones, social networks and other online activities.

In addition to using carefully selected course books, our teachers will include their own materials and make use of technology such as video and the internet to create interesting, effective classes that deliver real progress. A friendly, positive classroom atmosphere will help students of all levels achieve their goals in English.
