There’s no denying that the United Kingdom is home to some of the best universities in the world. According to the Times Higher Education’s World University Rankings, no fewer than 30 of Europe’s 100 top higher education institutions are British and in the world list only the United States has more.
Not surprisingly, this news has spread around the globe. For decades now, international students have been keen to come here to take advantage of this world-beating education – to the extent that last year more than 450,000 non-UK nationals were studying at British universities, almost 20% of the total number of university students.
But for many international students, making the leap from a high school education in their home country to the demands of studying at a UK university might seem a frightening prospect – which is where Oxford Business College can help. We have been offering Foundation Diploma programmes – aiming to prepare international students in every way for a UK university education – for more than 30 years, meaning we have a wealth of experience in helping students reach their goals. If you’re thinking about where to start your British education journey, there’s no better first step you could make than to get in touch with OBC.
